This study delves into multiculturalism’s function in literature, elaborating on how it serves to mirror the varied stories and experiences of other ethnic groups. Important topics covered in the paper include social justice, migration, cultural heritage, identity, and literary greats like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Amy Tan, and Chinua Achebe. A more inclusive literary canon is created via multicultural literature, which opposes Eurocentric narratives and promotes cross-cultural understanding. In order to improve the literary scene throughout the world, the paper proposes that varied voices should be explored and celebrated more often.
